Two years ago, Agremo, a leader in precision farming technology, had connected its aerial imagery analytics software with the John Deere Operations Center through the John Deere API Services. The new two-way data-sharing features released by Agremo will reinforce this connection.
Drone imagery analysis by Agremo cloud-based software relies on AI, machine learning, and state-of-art science. Growers and farmers can benefit from Agremo’s solutions, which integrate scientific vegetative indices to provide actionable insights, customized for over 100 field and orchard crops.
Agremo’s analyses offer customers precise field and plant data, specific to each stage of crop growth. The analyses start from crop emergence, through stand count, population density, pest, disease, stress, drought, waterlogging, nitrogen, canopy to flowering status. The Eagle Eye Report gives Ag professionals a visual map of farms with constructions and arable areas.
Earlier, users could only export the Agremo analysis results to the John Deere Operations Center. Now, they can export the results from the new Agremo app tools as well- Zone Management, Spraying, and Fertilizer. Also, now it is possible to import Field, Boundary, Flag, and Seeding files from the John Deere Operations Center account to Agremo.
Agremo CEO, Dr. Milan Dobrota explains, “Growers can now benefit from our new two-way data sharing options. Our new user-friendly import features have simplified and automated the steps needed to create and submit drone imagery maps of farms, needed to request our analyses. We hope easy and fast access to our analytic software services will help our customers in better crop and field monitoring.”
Import Annotations
Customers can log on to the John Deere Operations Center account, grant access to Agremo in the Operations Center, and import several types of data to the Agremo app. These are:
- Field import
- Boundary Import
- Flag import
- Seeding files Import
Then all they have to do is choose one of the Agremo crop analyses.
Seeding files provide necessary data to get highly accurate results from analyses, such as Stand Count analysis; while Flag import is useful for getting the Eagle Eye Reports.
Export Results from the Agremo App
After the customers receive the report with the analyzed map from one of the Agremo 12 crop analyses, they can export files and maps to their John Deere Operations Center account, by selecting the relevant organization and field. Information that can be exported from Agremo are:
- Analysis results in the form of a map layer
- Zonation tools result for zone management, spraying and, fertilizer applications through prescription maps
Combining drone imagery analysis by Agremo with the John Deere Operations Center’s other applications and features, allows growers to access drone data, analyses, insights, improve decision-making, and farm operations control in a single platform.
Agremo CEO, Dr. Milan Dobrota emphasizes, “By connecting to the John Deere API, we hope to streamline the use of precision farming software to optimize farm operations and improve profits. This move is in keeping with Agremo’s aim to simplify the use and application of precision farming by integrating with other providers and workflows of Ag technologies.”
Agremo’s cloud-based solutions are designed for all Ag professionals: individual farmers, organizations, or consultants. Various levels of an organization can be integrated into a single Agremo account, making it simple and efficient to share data among people, even across the world. They are already used in over 100 countries in various geographies.
