Overview
The Measurement & Annotation Tool allows you to precisely measure and annotate key elements directly on your field’s orthomosaic map. With this tool, you can identify and mark important areas such as crops, roads, waterways, obstacles, and affected zones, while also calculating distances, areas, and elevation points.
By generating a detailed report with all annotated data, including measurements, areas, and GPS coordinates (latitude and longitude), this tool enables farmers and agronomists to navigate their fields more efficiently and take accurate, data-driven actions.
How to Access
Open the uploaded orthophoto map for the selected field.
Navigate to the map view.
On the left side of the screen, locate the available tools.
Select one of the following options: Polygon, Point, or Line.
Start marking and measuring directly on the map.
How It Works
Choose the annotation option that best fits your needs and start marking key elements directly on your orthophoto map.
Polygon
Select the Polygon tool from the left sidebar.
Click on the map to create points and define the area you want to mark.
Close the shape by connecting the last point with the first to complete the polygon.
A modal window will appear where you can enter a name and description for the selected area.
All annotated data, including area size and details, will be included in the PDF report for further analysis and planning.

Point
Select the Point tool from the left sidebar.
Click on any location on the map to mark a specific point of interest.
Add a name and description in the modal window to describe the marked location.
If the map is processed in Agremo, elevation data from the DEM model will be automatically included.
The final PDF report will display the exact location (latitude & longitude) along with the elevation of the marked point.

Line
Select the Line (Length) tool from the left sidebar.
Click on the map to draw a line between two or more points.
Complete the line to calculate the exact distance between selected locations.
Add a name and description in the modal window for better context.
The measured length and annotation details will be available in the PDF report.

Export PDF Report
Right-click anywhere on the map to open the options menu.
Choose Select All Annotations or manually select specific annotations you want to include in the report.
Click on Choose Analysis.
In the third tab, select Measurement & Annotation.
Once the report is generated, it will be automatically downloaded to your computer and will include:
PDF report with a visual overview
CSV file containing coordinates for each annotation
KML file for use in GIS tools and navigation

💡 Note: You can add images to each annotation. These images will not be included in the PDF report. However, adding them before requesting the analysis can help improve the accuracy of future analyses.
