Track and analyze the average height of vegetation at the plot level throughout the entire growing season, providing invaluable insights into crop phenotype, treatment efficacy, and hybrid performance. Additionally, facilitate the selection of ideal plant heights for breeding, contributing to the development of customized crop varieties and promoting uniform, resource-efficient growth.
The optimal time to apply Plant height analysis is during mid season and harvesting.
Crop name | Vegetation phase |

Plant Height provides data for all crops taller than 30cm.
In order to achieve accurate and precise results for monitoring plant height, it is recommended to perform two drone flights. The first flight should be done before the crop is sown to establish a baseline, and the second flight should occur when plant height information is needed, ensuring that plants are taller than 30 cm. Both flights are expected to use real-time kinematic (RTK) and ground control point (GCP) technology. In addition, the integration of digital elevation model (DEM) data into the map is mandatory to improve the quality of the results.
Plant height measurements offer plot-level information, including average plant height, maximum height, minimum height, standard deviation (St Dev), and mean height. Together, these metrics provide a comprehensive overview of plant height distribution within a given plot.
