Overview

The Corn Yield Calculator helps you estimate potential corn yield based on plant population data. By leveraging accurate Stand Count analysis, this tool enables farmers and agronomists to make data-driven decisions and optimize crop performance.

This tool is available within the following setup:

• • Crop Monitoring Product
  • Stand Count Analysis – providing precise plant population insights for yield estimation
  • Crop Type: Corn – specifically designed for accurate corn yield prediction and monitoring

How to Access

1. Open the uploaded Drone map for the selected field.
2. Go to the analysis results for Stand Count Analysis
3. Click on the Tools tab.
4. Select the Corn Yield Calculator
5. The Corn Yield Calculator will appear on the right sidebar

How It Works

1. Open the Corn Yield Calculator – Once you access the tool, the plant population (Stand Count) is automatically pre-filled based on the Stand Count analysis. This value cannot be edited, ensuring consistency and accuracy in yield calculation.
2. Enter Required Field Parameters – To proceed, enter the following agronomic parameters:
   • Ears per Plant – average number of ears per individual corn plant
   • Rows per Ear – number of kernel rows on each ear
   • Grains per Row – number of kernels in a single row
   • Grain Weight – weight of 1,000 grains (in grams)
   • Grain Moisture – percentage of grain moisture content

3. Select Measurement Units – The unit system is automatically aligned with your account settings (metric or imperial).

4. View Yield Results – After entering all required data, the calculator generates yield results displayed under two key metrics:

• • Productivity
  • Total Yield

Results are presented across three scenarios to support better decision-making:

• • High
  • Average
  • Low

This range-based output enables better understanding of potential variability and supports planning.

   5. Export Results – Once the calculation is complete, you can click on Export Tool Results to download a detailed PDF report. The report includes all input parameters and calculated yield values, allowing you to share insights or use them for further analysis easily.
